EdgeEnergy Contracts with M&M Mid-Valley to Provide EV Charging to Fueling Retailers in 9 States

CINCINNATI, Ohio—February 6, 2024  EdgeEnergy, a pioneering energy conversion technology company offering faster, more cost efficient and higher performing solutions to install ultra-fast EV (Electric Vehicles) charging stations without three-phase power, announced that M&M Mid-Valley has contracted with them to use their EdgeEV power source as part of 40 EV Charging installations in 9 states across the Midwest.

For more than 30 years Covington, Kentucky based M&M Mid-Valley has been providing fueling retailers with service and supplies as well as full scale construction. Major fueling retailers like BP, Cheveron, Loves, Pilot, Shell and others are investing heavily in EV Charging. Locally owned franchises are following suit and M&M Mid-Valley is working with these retailers to install chargers that meet the growing demand of EV drivers.

“As EV adoption continues to gain momentum, fueling retailers are becoming increasingly critical to drivers,” said EdgeEnergy CEO Shaun Shuler. “Though many of these retailers lack the needed power to deploy the DC Fast Chargers that EV drivers need. EdgeEnergy can help these retailers install this needed critical fast charging infrastructure and avoid costly and time-consuming utility upgrades while providing them with a cost-effective solution that grows their business and serves EV drivers.”

Range Anxiety, or the confidence to get a charge while on the road, continues to be the number one barrier to EV adoption. Federally funded programs like NEVI are only part of the solution. Private investment from the more than 130,000 fueling retailers across the U.S. is a vital part of giving drivers confidence on the road.

“Our partnerships with EdgeEnergy creates an opportunity for our customers to expand their fueling offerings to include EVs and do so in a way that is cost effective and creates the most value for their business,” said Mickey Meyer, President of M&M Mid-Valley. “Our customers are looking for ways to grow their business by serving EV drivers and offering the same level of convenience and amenities they have always offered to the next generation of drivers.”
